The Escape Zone is a Christ-centered, interdenominational organization that provides a fun, friendly, safe, and supervised recreation environment for the teens of Knox County. Open to any male or female youth between the ages of 13 and 18, the Escape Zone provides a place for teens to hang out, play video games, board games, pool, see live bands, use computers, and much more. Most of our activities are free, but there's a small fee for most concerts.  We have collaborated with the Phoenix Force Drama Team for desert theater at The Escape Zone and intend to continue that relationship.  We have also enjoyed Christian Karaoke with Ben and Sally Smith on Friday nights.  Thank you to everyone that has worked to make the Escape Zone the destination for teens in Knox County!

On average, over 100 teens visit the Escape Zone each week. On concert and Battle of the Band nights, it is not uncommon for the Escape Zone to play host to more than 200 teens. Our facility is uniquely suited to support these types of events and offer the teens with a variety of entertainment choices. 

In 2009, we will be using our new computer learning lab for computer skill enhancement and the completion of school assignments. We are in the planning stages in support of offering an art program in collaboration with local artists. We also are interested in developing a music program with an emphasis on the guitar. We have added wall mounted TV's throughout the Escape Zone to enhance the multimedia experience and have plans to bring new video game consoles and games to the center.

We are currently planning our show calendar and look forward to many shows in 2009 including our very popular Battle of the Bands. We will have special guests visiting the Escape Zone to hang out with our teens and to share their unique stories and sharing their faith. Finding people that have a burden for teens, incredible stories, and a deep commitment to serving Christ.
